Rewards For Forces ID Card Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions are the terms on which a personalised Rewards For Forces membership ID Card is made available to you. By clicking on the button marked "I Accept" you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and if necessary print out copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

If you do not accept these terms and conditions we will not supply you with the Card.

• 1 Eligibility
  • 1.1 By submitting your application for the Rewards For Forces Card through our site, you warrant that:
    • 1.1.1 You are a Cadet; or member of the Reserve Forces
    • 1.1.2 You are a Serving Member or a Veteran of the Armed Forces (a veteran includes anyone who has previously served in the British Armed Forces, or has previously been employed as an MOD Civil Servant, member of the UK Merchant Seafarers Veterans serving in the Merchant Navy during military operations) or
    • 1.1.3 You are a service widow or widower; or
    • 1.1.4 You are a Spouse, Civil Partner (as defined in the Civil Partnership Act 2004), and/or a person living with a serving member or a veteran of the Armed Forces as though you are married or in a civil partnership; or
    • 1.1.5 You are a member of the Royal British Legion
    • 1.1.6 You are a serving or veteran member of the USA or Canadian Military
    • 1.1.7 You are currently employed as an MOD Civil Servant
    • 1.1.8 Information provided by you is true and not fraudulent;
• 2 Benefits
  • 2.1 You will be able to prove your entitlement to offers and discounts offered by third parties on their products and services when buying goods in-store and online. Please note that individual offers and discounts may be subject to change and withdrawal at any time.
  • 2.2 The Card is not a credit or debit card or an official identity card. Its purpose is to prove your eligibility to claim discounts or use offers made available by participating third party retailers.
  • 2.3 REWARDS FOR FORCES IDENTIFICATION CARD
  • 2.4 When you apply for the Card we will acknowledge your application but such acknowledgment will not constitute our acceptance of your application. The agreement between you and us will only be concluded when you receive your Card or when we tell you that we have accepted your application, if this is sooner (the "Agreement").
  • 2.5 Our acceptance may be subject to verification of the information provided by you.
  • 2.6 We may carry out random identity checks against your service staff or British Legion records.
  • 2.7 We can disclose your information to third parties for purposes of identity verification or administration of the Card scheme but not otherwise.
  • 2.8 You must sign your Card as soon as you receive it and must not allow anyone else to use it. The Card remains our property and we can ask you to return it at any time.
  • 2.9 Payment for the Card must be made by credit or debit card via our online facilitator.
• 3 Delivery
  • 3.1 The Card will be only sent to the address provided by you when applying for the Card
  • 3.2 We have no liability for non- delivery unless you inform us of an address change in writing within 10 days estimated date of delivery.
• 4 No Cancellation Rights
  • 4.1 We are supplying a Card to you which is personalised with unique identification information applicable to you. As a result you do not have the right to cancel this Agreement and to request a refund for the cost of the card. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
• 5 Termination
  • 5.1 If at any time we have reasonable grounds to consider that you have breached the terms of this Agreement or provided false or inaccurate information, we may terminate this Agreement and withdraw the Card. Where we do this, we will communicate our actions to you at least [7] days prior to termination.
  • 5.2 If this Agreement is terminated, you must return your card to us.
  • 5.3 At termination we reserve right to notify participating retailers that your Rewards For Forces card has been cancelled.
• 6 Variation
  • 6.1 We may vary the terms of this Agreement after giving you reasonable notice. Where such change is to your disadvantage you may terminate this Agreement immediately by giving us [30] days written notice within [30] days of receiving notice of the change to the terms.
  • 6.2 We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system's capabilities.
• 7 Our Liability
  • 7.1 We will not be responsible if any third party refuses to accept your Card and/ or questions your identity.
  • 7.2 We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under this Agreement that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • 7.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is an attempt by us to exclude or limit in any way our liability for
    • 7.3.1 Death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or
    • 7.3.2 Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
    • 7.3.3 Any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude attempt to exclude our liability.
  • 7.4 Our total liability to you arising as a result of the performance or contemplated performance of the Agreement will be limited to the cost of the application fee for your Rewards For Forces Card.
• 8 Transfer of Rights and Obligations
  • 8.1 The Agreement between you and us is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns.
  • 8.2 You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of the Card, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.
  • 8.3 We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of the Agreement, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the agreement.
